Cefalù
Cefalù, pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, dominated by the characteristic and imposing fortress and embellished by the majestic Arab-Norman Cathedral, reveals immediately to the visitor the beauty of its fascinating landscape, the result of the millennial passage of different cultures.
It is inserted in 'the most beautiful villages in Italy ' and the Cathedral, or rather Cathedral Basilica of the Transfiguration, è declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Aeolian Islands
The Aeolian Islands are one of the 55 Italian sites included by Unesco in the World Heritage List in the section relating to naturalistic heritage.
The archipelago of the Aeolian Islands in Sicily is made up of seven splendid islands - Lipari, Panarea, Vulcano, Stromboli, Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi - and some islets and rocks emerging from a clear blue sea.
Madonie
The Madonie are located between the rivers Imera (about 50 km east from Palermo) and Pollina which marks the border with the province of Messina and the Nebrodi mountains. To the north they fall into the Tyrrhenian Sea while to the south they dissolve into the central plateaus of the Sicilian hinterland.
Petralia
Petralia Soprana is located in the heart of Sicily, in the province of Palermo, is the highest town in the Madonie, dominates a wide landscape that ranges from the snow-capped peaks of Etna, to the city of Enna and the mountains of Palermo e then the wide valleys and waterways of the surrounding countryside.
Geraci
The name of the town ’ of Greek origin – from Jerax, vulture – and alludes to its ancient origin as a fortified place, like an impervious rock overrun by birds of prey. Those who climb from the sea of Cefal ù to the mountain for a visit to the villages of the Madonie regional park, after Castelbuono cross a magnificent cork oak forest and are faced with the image of a group of houses dominated by the ruins of a castle. Geraci Siculo, lying on the rocky back of a hill, has an urban structure of narrow and winding streets, alleys and courtyards, where the medieval imprint is still evident.

Fiumara d'Arte
Fiumara d'Arte is an open-air museum consisting of a series of sculptures by contemporary artists located along the banks of the Tusa river which once flowed between the Nebrodi mountains with a path of twenty one kilometers, up to the ancient city of Halaesa.
The Labyrinth of Ariadne, the Pyramid and the Window on the Sea are the three symbolic works of the stream of art. The route, which follows the Tusa river, winds through the first mountains of the Nebrodi and will offer you wonderful landscape views, as well as lead you through the various works of art of the river.
Palermo
The period of maximum splendor of Palermo came with the Altavilla (in particular with Ruggero II and with the Swabian Frederick II), who made Sicily an independent state and were able to introduce the best of the inheritance à Arab, Greek-Sicilian and Roman cultural in Norman culture. Under the patronage of Frederick II of Swabia, King of Sicily and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, starting from the third decade of the 13th century, an environment of intense cultural activity was formed in Palermo which goes under the name of the Sicilian School.
